I photograph youth events as they unfold, looking for the excitement, friendships, and family connections that make each one personal.

The planned moments matter, and so do the ones between them: a proud look from a parent, friends laughing together, the anticipation before a celebration begins. My approach is to capture the event as a whole, giving you photographs that bring back how it felt to be there.
