A week in Cuba

In 2025, I traveled to Cuba with a small group of photographers. We spent time in Havana and the Viñales Valley and joined the crowds gathering for May Day.

I was drawn to the people I met and the moments unfolding around me: a child watching from a doorway, a vendor at her stall, music in the streets, a family welcoming us to their farm. These photographs follow some of those encounters through one week of travel.

About the project

These images reflect what I saw during my visit. They are a glimpse of daily life and celebration, and an invitation to look more closely at the people within each frame.
