I photograph real people with their emotion, energy, connections and unexpected moments that tell their individual story.
From nonprofit fundraisers and corporate gatherings to sports, community events and documentary projects, my approach is unobtrusive, thoughtful, and focused on what is genuinely happening.

The photographs that matter most often happen between the expected moments such as a glance, reaction, determination on an athlete's face, laughter across a room, or a quiet connection between people.
Those are the moments I look for.

My documentary projects explore people, communities and cultures with curiosity and respect. Some are long term studies. Others document a particular plan or moment in time.

I've always been interested in people. What do we have in common, what makes us different, and the small moments that reveal something about who we are. That curiosity shapes the way I photograph.
I want to notice the moments already happening.
My work has taken me from local communities and sporting events to documentary projects around the world. Wherever I am photographing, I approach people with curiosity, respect, and genuine interest.
I am a Master Photographer and Certified Professional Photographer from the Professional Photographers of America. I represented the United States on Team USA at the 2024 World Photographic Cup and named the North Carolina Professional Photographer of the Year in 2026. You can trust me to see moments that matter while you concentrate on being part of them.
